Dongwon Home Food (CEO Jung Moon-mok) announced on the 26th that it is sponsoring “Beautifully Happy,” an art exhibition featuring artists with developmental disabilities, hosted by the Onnuri Welfare Foundation.

The exhibition will open at 11:00 a.m. on the 26th and run through December 1 on the first floor of Gallery La Mer in Insadong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Approximately 100 works featuring the diverse and distinctive perspectives of 22 artists with developmental disabilities affiliated with the Bukseoul Sheltered Workshop, operated by the Onnuri Welfare Foundation, will be on display. Admission is free.

The participating artists have received training to pursue careers as professional artists through “Yeson,” an art studio within the Bukseoul Sheltered Workshop. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase works featured in the exhibition. At previous exhibitions, the high quality of the artists’ work attracted significant attention, with many pieces sold.

A special event will also be held to commemorate the exhibition. Visitors will be able to create calendars using the artists’ artwork, while participants in the event will receive small gifts featuring selected works.

“We hope this exhibition will provide an opportunity for artists with developmental disabilities to freely share their work with the world,” said Jung Moon-mok, CEO of Dongwon Home Food.

Dongwon Home Food also supports job creation for people with disabilities through linked-employment agreements with organizations including the Bukseoul Sheltered Workshop and Narichan, while regularly purchasing products produced by these organizations.
